HOW OUR VINTAGE-BOX BEGAN
My husband’s idea.
When a friend showed my husband the photo booth rental budget for his wedding, my husband was convinced he could build one for that. He was still a student — and clearly rather optimistic.
Well, it didn’t quite work out that way. The build took far more time and effort than he had imagined. But it gave us something special: our Vintage-Box. An original plate camera from around 1890–1910, with a new life at celebrations.
What began as an idea for one wedding has since been part of so many more. The Vintage-Box is still with us today. My husband has kept refining it, upgrading the technology and solving the little problems that only become clear with use. A lot of care has gone into this camera — and still does.
The Vintage-Box was there at our own wedding, too. Some of the memories it has helped make are our own.
Today, the historic camera and a professional photo printer work together to make something very simple possible: people having fun together, and photographs they can take home.

01 / THE CHARACTER
A century in the details.
Wood, bellows and the unmistakable shape of an early plate camera: the charm comes from the original object itself. It brings a little of another era to your wedding, birthday or celebration.
02 / THE KEEPSAKES
Made to be kept.
Inside, modern photo booth technology captures the moment. The professional dye-sublimation printer produces high-quality, lasting photographs — for the guestbook, the fridge or someone who couldn’t be there. You also receive the digital photographs after your event.
Perhaps the next chapter is yours.
